This is a 2-month unit that I have created for MYP 4 (grade 9) students every year. During this unit, students will first explore different global justice issues and research on one specific issue that they are interested in. After the research and presentation, students will create a song based on the justice issue. In the past years, students have created songs for issues including animal rights, global warming, LGBT, religious discrimination, child military, family violence, air pollution, drug abuse, racism, and human trafficking.
